Actually, Justin, most metal roofing doesn't require extra structural support. A standard home frame is fine for a metal roof, which is much lighter than slate or Spanish tile. The metal roofing in our area is lightweight and durable.

This company sounds great. Does Louisville have a recycled building supply warehouse where home owners and builders can get a tax deduction for their donations and buyers get a deal on building materials?

What a wonderful store. I particularly like the FSC certified bedroom groups...one of which I purchased for my home and absolutely love! The staff is friendly and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this store!

Nice! I'd love to see the difference in comfort, air-tightness, and utility bills after those problems get fixed!

Nice video. It is true not all products are equal and you really have to see how eco friendly they are.

yeah they are cool looking. You see a lot of homes along Cherokee Park in Louisville with metal roofing. Unfortunately, I'm not sure how strong newer homes' frames or roofing foundations are to support most metal roofing. Hopefully when developers start practicing more environmental building techniques metal roofs will be the norm or at leat more of an option for homeowners.
