I love going to farmers markets, the produce is much more affordable and fresher than those in the grocery stores. We have a lot of local farmers markets around town, let’s try and help support our local farmers. They usually run from April/May to November. Don’t forget to bring a bag and some dollar bills.
Emeril Lagasse has gone GREEN

Mr. “BAM” himself is whipping up creative meals with the store’s organic, and local produce, meat and seafood. It will be shot on location at Whole Foods Market. His show is called Emeril Green airing Monday to Thursday starting this month. That is, if you have the new Planet GREEN channel. For those of you that have Insight Cable, it’s Channel 221. I hope you can watch the show and learn something new.
